It covers an area of more than 1400 square km. The average elevation is just over 110 m. The average temperature is 19 degrees and the population is more than 30,000 including the Zhuan, Yao, Hui, Bai and Dong minorities. Yangshuo is divided into six towns and three districts. You can cruise on the Li River up to Guilin and down stream to Wuzhuo and Guangzhuo city. You can get to Yangshuo from Guilin by bus (65 km) or take a boat cruise from Guilin ZhuJiang Pier (4-5 hours). |
